The other shoe drops

This past summer, there were the large number of reported injuries from so-called toning shoes, which were marketed as ways to get your legs and butt into shape. Well, it turns out that the shoes might not even do what they advertise. The Federal Trade Commission has reached a $25 million settlement with Reebok, which has been barred from making unsupported claims. Reebok said in a statement that it stands behinds its Easy Tone technology and settled the complaint to avoid a legal battle.
