Boost Your Mood with Waters

Exercise scientists have long known that even a small amount of dehydration can affect physical performance, but a new study shows that dehydration affects a lot more than your strength and endurance. Researchers writing in the Journal of Nutrition found that as little as 1.36% dehydration significantly increased symptoms of headache and decreased levels of concentration and mood. Thirst isn’t necessarily the best indicator of your body’s need for water, as by the time you’re thirsty you’re already dehydrated. So drink up! Those eight or more glasses of water a day may actually make you happier and think more sharply.
